Your Voice Does Matter

How and why to call your representatives today, no matter your position.

After Uvalde

Late last night, I sat down with my husband (former chief of staff for two members of Congress and an attorney) to discuss why your voice ABSOLUTELY matters, our perspective coming from a red state, and some (what I call) middle-of-the-road gun reform ideas that might move the needle toward change. No matter your opinion on the second amendment or what happens next in Congress, I encourage you to listen. I promise we have no other agenda other than to make sure you know that individuals can make a difference.

If you live in Missouri…

Senator Roy Blunt (R): 202-224-5721

Senator Josh Hawley (R): 202-224-6154

This is what I said when I called:

“Hi, my name is Sarah Bohl from zip code 65203. I do not need a response. I would like to let Senator ______ know that I would like: ___be succinct and specific___. My children attend Columbia Public Schools and I was terrified to drop them off this morning. Thank you and have a good day.”
